Custom Spark Learning provides high-quality, individualized tutoring services for children aged 3 to grade 6. Tutoring should not just be an extension of the school day or extra practice; it should be customized to meet the unique needs, experiences, and interests of each student. By creating fun and engaging ways to access content, Custom Spark hopes to provide solid foundations of learning for future academic success. Casey Balkcom, owner, is a Florida-certified teacher with over a decade of experience working in classrooms across North Central Florida. Along with her classroom experience, she also has served as an instructional coach and district curriculum specialist, where she supported teachers in their effective implementation of evidence-based teaching practices and the use of technology for virtual instruction. She has a master’s in elementary education from the University of Florida, and is currently pursuing her PhD in Special Education, concentrating on early childhood and early literacy skill development, also at the University of Florida.
