Current public boundary

Easy Homeschool currently provides public, independent guidance and catalog research. New family signup and new document uploads are paused by default while privacy, security, support, and data-rights controls are completed.

Easy Homeschool is not the Step Up For Students portal and never needs your Step Up password.

Data used on public pages

  • Technical request data needed to serve and protect the site, such as timestamps, route, device or browser signals, and security logs.
  • Privacy-minimized product events used to understand page and feature use. Free text, child data, account credentials, and document contents must not enter analytics.
  • Anonymous catalog corrections submitted intentionally by a visitor. These are for catalog facts only and must not contain personal or student information.

Family and learner data

Private family capabilities may contain adult account information, minimized learner profiles, plans, records, expenses, and documents. They remain unavailable to new public accounts until the release gates are proven.

The product is designed for a parent or guardian as the primary operator. It is not intended for a child to create an account independently.

Retention, export, deletion, and backups

Existing account holders can use the private privacy center to prepare an account correction, export, or deletion request. Verified submission, acknowledgement, and status tracking remain release-gated.

The final retention schedule, backup deletion window, production configuration, and external legal approval remain release-gated. Easy Homeschool will not publish shorter timelines or broader guarantees than its systems can prove.

Service providers and disclosure

The product uses infrastructure providers to host the application, database, and private files. A reviewed notice will identify applicable providers and legal roles before public signup reopens.

Easy Homeschool does not sell a family’s private records. Any sponsored placement must remain labeled and separate from organic guidance.
