Course Overview: This interactive, hands-on life skills workshop introduces students to the foundations of holistic health through the lens of nature, agriculture, and nutrition. Grounded in integrative wellness principles, students will explore how our environment, food choices, and daily habits contribute to overall well-being. Key Learning Objectives: -Nutritional Literacy: Understanding whole foods, reading nature’s cues for seasonal eating, and creating simple, whimsical, and nourishing snacks. -Mindful Movement & Grounding: Connecting with the body through outdoor exploration, nature walks, song, and physical activities that promote strength, balance, and a deeper connection to the earth. -Agricultural Stewardship: Gaining a sense of purpose and responsibility by participating in the care of a backyard garden and small farm animals (chickens). -The Symbiotic Ecosystem: Discovering the connection between how we treat the earth and how it nourishes our bodies, fostering a lifelong foundation for whole-person health.
