As both a trained Orton-Gillingham dyslexia, reading tutor and a trained Cognitively Guided Instruction (CGI) math instructor, I am dedicated to helping children with diverse learning needs. Utilizing the renowned Orton-Gillingham approach, my literacy tutoring sessions are personalized, multisensory, and structured to cater to each child's unique learning style. In addition to literacy support, my expertise in CGI math allows me to offer individualized math instruction that encourages students to develop a deep understanding of mathematical concepts through problem-solving and critical thinking. I focus on creating a positive and supportive atmosphere, where students feel encouraged and motivated. My mission is to boost students' confidence, improve their literacy and/or math abilities, and enable them to reach their full academic potential, ensuring lasting success in their educational journey.
