Hello! I'm Alicia Roberts, a certified educator with a passion for helping students build confidence, independence, and a love of learning. My background in education includes working with students of all ability levels, including those with disabilities and unique learning needs. I am currently a 6-year "highly-effective" evaluated teacher of the visually impaired and have over 10 years of experience working with students who have mild-severe impairments. In my career, I have mastered an approach to supporting education through a multisensory approach by using multiple modes of learning across all areas. I believe every child learns differently, so I create individualized lessons that meet students where they are while encouraging meaningful growth. Whether your child needs academic support, reading intervention, executive functioning strategies, functional academics, or homeschool enrichment, I strive to make learning engaging, encouraging, and successful. My goal is not only to improve academic skills but also to help students gain confidence, develop problem-solving abilities, and celebrate their progress. I partner closely with families to ensure each student's educational goals are supported through consistent communication and personalized instruction. I look forward to helping your child reach their full potential in a positive, supportive learning environment.
