Hi there! My name is Mrs. Thomas, and I am a certified K-6 Teacher with over 7 years of experience in public schools. As someone who has been private tutoring for over a year and a half, I specialize in helping students build strong foundational skills in reading and math, and I also tutor in other areas such as science and social studies, as needed. Lessons with me are engaging and tailored to each learner's needs, and parents also receive a progress report after each session which highlights the activities and skills we focused on, as well as the child's strengths and things to improve on from the lesson. I have experience supporting students with diverse learning styles and helping them achieve academic success at their own pace. With a passion for helping students succeed, I hope I get the chance to meet your little learner and assist them towards their goals!
