Project BUILD SWFL is a Florida Department of Education-approved pre-apprenticeship provider offering hands-on training, academic support, and life skills development to youth and young adults ages 16–24. We serve students from underserved, justice-involved, and at-risk backgrounds by providing workforce pathways and educational services that lead to real-world success. Our services include: Construction & Skilled Trades Training (NCCER Core, OSHA 10, Forklift, First Aid/CPR, Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC) Academic Support (GED preparation, basic skills tutoring) Career Certifications in: Customer Service & Sales Retail Fundamentals Conflict De-escalation Supply Chain & Inventory Management Food Handler & Safety Project Management Mentoring, life skills training, and financial literacy education We blend classroom instruction, hands-on experience, and employer engagement to help students gain the skills, confidence, and credentials they need for long-term success in the workforce and in life.
