Down to Earth Co-op
Down to Earth Homeschool LLC
Provider description
Down to Earth Co-op is a non-denominational Christian Home Education Instructional Program serving students in Kindergarten through 8th grade. Our program provides hands-on, integrated enrichment in science, history, literature, geography, art, and real-world exploration, designed to complement families’ home education. Students meet every Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. To ensure developmentally appropriate instruction, students are placed in 3 learning groups: K–2, 3rd–5th, and 6th–8th. This structure allows us to tailor instruction, discussion, and hands-on activities to each age group’s academic level, attention span, and social development—while still fostering a unified, multi-age community where relationships grow naturally. For K–5th, students participate in shared thematic lessons that are intentionally adapted by age and developmental level. Our middle school program (6th-8th) emphasizes discussion, collaboration, and increasing independence, helping students develop critical thinking, personal responsibility, and practical life skills while applying faith-based reasoning to real-world situations. Community is a central part of our program, with weekly Friday park days and field trips designed for homeschool moms to build relationships and support one another, while providing children with unstructured free play and opportunities to form lasting friendships.
