I’m a Florida state licensed and certified (6th-12th grade) math teacher who enjoys seeing my students thrive. I’ve been working as a high school math teacher and truly appreciate working with students at this age/stage. Primarily, I teach honors courses, but have a great mix of classes in my schedule. College Algebra, Probability & Statistics, and Discreet Math are among my favorite courses to teach. I’ve also tutored students in the SAT’s (math section), Pre-Algebra, Algebra, and Geometry. I enjoy empowering students who already have stronger math skills and accelerating them to higher levels of achievement. I also find it extremely rewarding to work with students who enter my classroom at the beginning of the school year, already feeling defeated and overwhelmed with how intimidating or frustrating they’ve experienced math in the past, and find great satisfaction in witnessing their newfound courage and confidence in their math skills.
