Focus Learning Academy, is a community-based organization located in North Miami Beach, Florida. We have been in operation for nearly 30 years, serving the youth and families of this community. Our vision is to make our community a better place to live, work, and enjoy as we strive to enrich the lives of its youth, who are our future. Our mission is to provide the best individualized pedagogical experience possible to each child. At Focus Learning Academy, we value every child and aim to provide the best education possible. We provide educational services to a diverse population of students including economically disadvantaged, at-risk youth, developmentally disabled, and ELL (English Language Learners) populations. We specialize in SLD, (Specific Learning Disabilities), ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder), ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder), and other developmental delays. We are committed to building self-esteem and strengthening self-concept through individualized instructions as needed. Focus Learning Academy offers a plethora of educational services. We offer one-on-one tutorial services in all content subjects i.e., Reading, Math, Science, and History. In addition, we offer test preparation and tutoring services for the SAT, ACT EOC (End of Course) exams, FSA (Florida Standard Assessment), the GED (General Equivalency Diploma), and other standardized assessments.
