Craeft Surf Studio
Tommy Tant Memorial Surf Classic
Provider description
Craeft Surf Studio is a Florida-based nonprofit providing intentional surf instruction and moral education to students ages 7–17 in Flagler Beach, Florida. Operating out of a historic landmark facility across from the main break, our programming develops the whole person: physical fitness, mental stability, emotional confidence, and high character. Instruction is led by dedicated professionals with expertise in surfing and ethics, drawing on the mentorship of working professional surfers with deep roots in the Flagler Beach surf community. Physical Education (P.E.): Structured surf instruction developing cardiovascular endurance, balance, coordination, strength, and physical confidence. Sessions are progressive and skill-based, advancing students through measurable stages of surf competency with ocean safety, environmental awareness, and physical conditioning integrated throughout. Electives / Enrichment: An immersive experience in character development through the discipline of surfing. Rooted in the belief that surfing requires courage, discipline, knowledge, dedication, patience, and resilience, our programs pass knowledge, tradition, and craft from one generation of surfers to the next — transforming a sport into a course of genuine character formation. Craeft carries over two decades of community investment through the Tommy Tant Memorial Surf Classic and a legacy of developing young surfers along Florida's east coast.
