I am a Special Education teacher with 19 years of experience providing targeted reading interventions and math instruction I have extensive training and hands‑on experience with various reading programs. I work with students individually and in small groups, supporting learners from kindergarten through 5th grade. My focus is on building foundational literacy skills, monitoring progress through data, and delivering instruction that meets each student’s unique needs. I believe that building a foundation of trust is the essential first step in helping any student grow. When students feel safe, understood, and supported, they are far more willing to take risks, engage deeply, and persist through challenges. My instructional approach is rooted in forming strong relationships, understanding each learner’s needs, and delivering instruction that empowers them to succeed.
