Twistid Arts Initiative
Provider description
Twistid Arts Initiative is a nonprofit visual and performing arts organization based in Inverness dedicated to making high-quality arts education accessible, inclusive, and community-driven. Through hands-on instruction in theatre, music, dance, visual arts, and technical theatre, we provide students with opportunities to build confidence, creativity, communication skills, and real-world artistic experience in a supportive environment. We serve children, teens, and young adults of all experience levels, including homeschool families, neurodivergent students, students with social or emotional challenges, and underserved families who may not otherwise have access to arts programming. Our programs are designed to foster inclusion, teamwork, leadership, and self-expression while creating a safe and welcoming space for every student to grow. Services include theatre productions, acting classes, technical theatre training, summer theatre camps, teen intensives, mentorship opportunities, visual arts programming, audition preparation, and career-focused arts education. Students gain experience both onstage and behind the scenes through immersive, project-based learning led by experienced industry professionals and educators.
