Art Tutoring & Portfolio Development I offer art tutoring for students from elementary through college, meeting each artist exactly where they are in their creative journey. With younger students, the focus is on exploration—experimenting with different materials, discovering new ways to make marks, and learning how to turn ideas into images. It’s a playful, supportive space that encourages curiosity and confidence. As students grow, we build on those foundations with training in drawing, composition, design, and the essential skill of learning how to see. They learn to understand form, light, and structure, and how to translate their observations into expressive, intentional artwork. For high school and college-bound students, I also provide advanced academic instruction and portfolio development. Together, we create a body of work that is both technically strong and personally meaningful—dynamic, cohesive, and ready for competitive art programs. Across all ages, my goal is to help students expand their creative potential, develop a strong artistic voice, and enjoy the process of making art. Each lesson blends technique with imagination, giving students the tools and confidence to grow as artists in a way that feels natural, inspiring, and deeply rewarding.
