As a former Florida Teacher of the Year, curriculum director, and now an educational consultant and national speaker at leading reading and writing conferences, I bring a deep and proven understanding of how children learn best. I tutor students from Kindergarten through eighth grade, including those with special needs, offering individualized support in reading, writing across the curriculum, grammar, social studies, math, and science. My tutoring style is highly interactive and designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and cultivate a genuine love of reading, writing, and math. I also help students strengthen organizational and executive‑functioning skills, develop effective study habits, prepare for tests, manage major projects, and grow into independent, motivated learners. My approach is warm, structured, and tailored to each child’s unique learning style so they feel supported and capable of achieving lasting academic success.
