Jason Lowe
Provider description
I specialize in Social Emotional Learning (SEL) instruction for students who benefit from additional support with social skills, emotional regulation, communication, and appropriate interactions in public and community settings. My services are especially beneficial for students on the autism spectrum and others who may struggle with interpreting social cues, perspective-taking, or peer interactions. I teach social and behavioral skills through engaging, age-appropriate methods including discussion, games, role-play, reading activities, sports, and hands-on experiences that encourage real-world application. My approach focuses on building confidence, independence, self-awareness, and positive communication skills in supportive and structured environments. In addition to SEL instruction, I provide private tutoring for elementary-aged students in all academic subjects in both individual and small-group settings. I adapt instruction and activities to meet each student’s unique learning style, academic level, and behavioral needs. I have worked in special education for over a decade and currently serve as a Behavior Specialist for Pasco County Schools. I have experience supporting students with learning disabilities, developmental disabilities, behavioral challenges, and other individualized needs through positive, student-centered instruction and intervention strategies.
