Homeplace Literacy Solutions
Provider description
Homeplace Literacy Solutions provides joyful, hands-on literacy instruction for children in grades K–3. Rooted in Montessori principles, our lessons use concrete, engaging materials to build strong foundational reading and writing skills. We offer 1:1 and small-group sessions because literacy is social, relational, and strengthened through conversation and collaboration. Our integrated approach supports all five key areas of literacy development: • Phonological awareness • Phonics and word recognition • Fluency • Vocabulary • Comprehension We also specialize in early-reading support for children in K–1 who have been diagnosed with dyslexia, providing targeted, multisensory instruction aligned with evidence-based practices. At Homeplace Literacy Solutions, literacy is everywhere—woven through children’s exploration of science, math, and social studies themes like community, geography, and history. We help young readers make meaningful connections across subjects so that learning feels natural, joyful, and empowering. Attendance & Scheduling Consistent attendance supports literacy growth. Missed sessions may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice, based on availability. Each 7-week cycle includes up to 2 make-up sessions. Missed sessions without notice are not rescheduled.
