Whispering Pines Homeschool Enrichment

Whispering Pines Homeschool provides support to families who have chosen home education by offering enrichment classes and academic guidance in a safe and supportive learning environment. Families can choose single or multi-day programming. Thematic Unit Classes cover a different topic monthly and meet once a week on Wednesdays. Guided Learning is offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays. During this time students receive support and guidance as they progress through their parent-selected curriculum. Tuesday/Thursday offerings can be combined with Wednesday Thematic Units to create a 3 day, hybrid approach to your home education program. Students learn at home exclusively on Monday and Friday supported by parents. While on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday the student participates in group classes and activities, as well as receives assistance with their core curriculum. The combination of parental support reinforced by that of a nurturing learning community provides a positive environment in which the child can flourish as he/she strengthens social skills as well as academic standing.
