Developing skilled readers and thoughtful writers through intentional, personalized instruction. I provide individualized English Language Arts (ELA) tutoring for students in Kindergarten through 12th grade, with a focus on building strong reading and writing skills. With 18 years of experience as a home educator and current experience as a classroom teacher at a private Christian school, I offer personalized instruction designed to help each student grow in both ability and confidence. I specialize in supporting struggling readers through phonics, fluency, and comprehension instruction, as well as helping students strengthen their writing skills in grammar, paragraph structure, and essay development. I also work with students who need general ELA support, including vocabulary, literary analysis, and assistance with school assignments and projects. Instruction is aligned with Florida’s B.E.S.T. Standards for English Language Arts and is tailored to meet each student’s individual learning needs. I serve a wide range of learners, including students needing foundational reading support, those who need remediation, and students looking to strengthen or advance their writing skills. Each tutoring session is personalized and may include direct instruction, guided practice, reading support, writing development, and academic reinforcement.
