In-home Piano Lessons: Individualized, weekly lessons that encourage a love of music! Student will learn how to read sheet music, classical piano technique, and pieces from classical and Baroque eras to pop music and movie songs. Lessons also often include music games, song-writing, and improvisation. Students will gain confidence as they perform for families and friends through opportunities such as twice a year studio recitals and optional juries and competitions. In-home music therapy sessions: Individual sessions focus on improving communication and emotional goals for students with developmental disabilities through musical interventions such as song-writing, group instrument play, and lyric analysis.
