Good Days Adolescent Special Needs Center
Good Days Adolescent Special Needs Center, LLC
Provider description
Good Days Adolescent Special Needs Center provides an integrated life-skills and occupational therapy–based training program for adolescents on the autism spectrum. Our curriculum is developed and supervised by Ciera Olvera, MS, OTR/L, and incorporates evidence-based occupational therapy practices into every aspect of instruction. The program is year-round and designed to foster functional independence, self-regulation, and participation in daily living activities. Through individualized goals and hands-on learning, students (ages 10 to 18) develop practical skills that promote motor coordination, sensory integration, executive functioning, and adaptive behavior. Areas of focus include food preparation and kitchen safety, personal hygiene and grooming, environmental awareness, household organization, social and communication skills, money and time management, and pre-vocational readiness. Each component of training supports the therapeutic goal of helping adolescents build confidence, improve functional performance, and enhance their overall quality of life through greater independence in home, school, and community settings.
