Provider description

LUASA Adapted Sports Academy is a safe, joyful, and inclusive sports program created for children ages 4–17 with Autism, Down Syndrome, physical disabilities, motor delays, communication differences, and other developmental needs. We help children build confidence, strength, coordination, social skills, and emotional regulation through adapted, sensory‑friendly sports activities. At LUASA, every child is welcomed, understood, and supported. Our classes are designed to meet each child exactly where they are. We use visual supports, predictable routines, sensory regulation strategies, and step‑by‑step instruction so children can learn at their own pace and feel successful. Children participate in a monthly rotation of adapted sports such as soccer, basketball, baseball, racket skills, and our year‑round motor skills program. Every class includes sensory warm‑ups, skill practice, teamwork activities, and cool‑down routines to support sensory regulation, motor planning, communication, and socialization.
