The Melges Watersports Center is a community-based sailing and watersports facility located in Merritt Island, Florida. Our mission is to provide safe, accessible, and engaging on-the-water experiences for youth, adults, families, and lifelong learners of all skill levels. We offer youth sailing camps, homeschool programs, private sailing instruction, adult learn-to-sail courses, racing programs, and recreational access to paddleboards, kayaks, and sailboats. Our programs are designed to build confidence, teamwork, leadership, problem-solving skills, and a lifelong appreciation for the outdoors and the marine environment. The Melges Watersports Center serves a wide range of participants, including beginners with no prior boating experience, experienced sailors looking to advance their skills, homeschool students seeking hands-on educational opportunities, and families looking for healthy outdoor recreation.
