Product description

This is what we deem our preferred "Good" option for Grammar in 5th Grade. This option utilizes the "You Teach" method, which is a term we have coined for traditional, parent-taught homeschooling.

Grammar and Writing 5 builds on the concepts learned in Grammar and Writing 4. Students will continue to drill the Shurley English jingles and use the practice sentences for the week to develop mastery in understanding the concepts and parts of speech. It uses Shurley 6 because Shurley 5 introduces no new concepts. They will also use techniques from the Institute for Excellence in Writing to continue to develop their writing skills with key word outlines, writing from pictures, narrative stories, summarizing from notes and essay writing. Writing assignments will build their confidence and abilities as developing writers.

Note: Digital items such as the Basic Forever Streaming are non-refundable.
