Students study nonfiction texts—essays, speeches, journalism—to develop advanced reading, rhetorical analysis, argumentation, source synthesis, and effective written and spoken communication. Course activities and assessments prepare learners for AP-level exams. This is the Accredited Course version, which includes an official transcript and completed credit. The course is intended for independent learning and does not include teacher grading or support; parents can grade assignments, access answer keys, and provide feedback. An optional Accredited Course with Mentor Teacher is available for instructor grading, feedback, and ongoing support.</p>
