OptimaED Self-Paced 7th Grade Math (Canvas LMS) | 12-month access | Starts 1st & 15th. Parent/guardian facilitated (no instructor). VR-enhanced (optional; VR not required). Florida standards-aligned. This course develops a deeper understanding of rational numbers, proportional relationships, and linear expressions, equations, and inequalities, while connecting ratios, percentages, and proportional reasoning to real-world contexts. Students will expand their knowledge of statistics and probability through data analysis, simple experiments, simulations, and comparisons of data sets, as well as explore two- and three-dimensional figures, including scaling and cylinders. These concepts prepare students for more advanced work with two-variable linear equations, statistical reasoning, and future algebraic studies.
