Product description
Prerequisites: 7th Grade Math In Science 150, students study basic principles of the earth sciences, and then push on to basic physics. A great foundation for all high school sciences. Designed to be the last science course a student takes before high school biology, Apologia Physical Science discusses such topics as the atmosphere, hydrosphere, weather, the structure of the earth, and environmentalism. Concentrates on physics of motion, Newton's Laws, gravity, and astrophysics. Includes numerous hands-on experiments. A perfect course for preparing students to study a college-prep high school science. The text is conversational, making it easy to read and understand. Contains student exercises, experiments, photos, illustrations, and tests (with detailed solutions). Taught from a Christian viewpoint with emphasis on the incredible design features apparent throughout God's creation.
