<p>This self-paced, online course introduces fourth-grade students to the geography, history, and cultures of the United States, with a focus on regional diversity. Students explore key geographic features, early American history, Native American cultures, and the development of communities. The course strengthens map skills, builds understanding of government functions, and highlights the importance of civic responsibility. Through interactive lessons, stories, and project-based learning, students develop critical thinking skills and an appreciation for the nation’s cultural and historical foundations in a flexible, engaging environment.</p> <p>Parents of neurodivergent learners are supported through a dedicated online platform offering expert guidance and tailored resources. They gain insight into their child’s learning needs, including diagnoses such as autism, dyslexia, intellectual disability, or ADHD, and receive strategies aligned with visual, auditory, or kinesthetic learning styles. The platform includes at-home activities to strengthen fine and gross motor skills that support academic success.</p> <p>Parents also receive adaptive strategies to support reading, writing, and organizational skills essential for social studies. Accessible educational tools, including Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), help customize instruction for each learner. Families have access to downloadable resources, a supportive community, and ongoing professional guidance throughout the course.</p> <p>This course includes six months of access to all materials and resources.
