<p><strong>North Star Geography</strong> is a flagship geography program designed to give students a wide knowledge of the world and a deep understanding of how geography impacts all of us every day, all while fulfilling a full high school credit. It covers basic geography skills (maps, navigation) as well as physical geography (topography, biosphere, structure of the earth) and human geography (environmental stewardship, agriculture, culture, heritage & more)—all from a Christian perspective.</p><p>This book provides 16 lessons in 3 units that can be scheduled for a 16-week, 32-week or 64-week course, equivalent to 1 high school credit. The text features full-color maps, illustrations, interesting sidebars and a glossary.</p><p>Includes access to a convenient, easy-to-use digital <strong>Companion Guide</strong> with hands-on project options; an atlas-building section where students label outline maps; note-taking pages with ten questions taken from the text; study guides; memorization lists with countries, regions, and features to know; research questions; quizzes; a final exam; and answer keys with a grading rubric.</p><p>Book contains 283 pages. Each lesson is approximately 10-15 pages and geared toward junior high to high school students, though it may be adapted for younger students.</p>
