Product description
Ranging from the bombardment of Fort Sumter at the beginning of the Civil War in 1861 to The Great Recession in 2007, this Timeline features 28 dated illustrations to help your student learn and visualize the incredible people and events of the last 150 years. Well-known figures such as Abraham Lincoln, Frederick Douglass, Gladys Aylward, Rosa Parks, and Martin Luther King Jr. are interspersed with the seminal events of the World Wars, the Civil Rights Movement, and the fall of the Berlin Wall. Students cut and color the detailed drawings and paste them on three 6" x 34" card-stock strips which are scored and able to fold for convenient storage in the student notebook. When assembled this timeline will stretch to nearly nine feet in length!
