Product description
The Big Cheese follows the most confident cheese around, who believes he's the best at absolutely everything—until the annual Cheese-cathlon introduces a humble new competitor who challenges everything he thought he knew about winning. Through laugh-out-loud humor, clever food-themed characters, and Pete Oswald’s vibrant illustrations, Jory John delivers a heartwarming story about humility, good sportsmanship, and discovering that kindness and friendship matter more than always coming out on top. As children enjoy this entertaining adventure, they naturally strengthen reading comprehension, vocabulary, and social-emotional learning while developing empathy, resilience, self-awareness, and an appreciation for healthy competition.
