<p>Now available from OnFire Academy: 10th Grade Language Arts - Semester 2 is a 100% online and flexibly paced course covering world literature and Common Core-aligned skills in reading literature, reading nonfiction, writing, and speaking and listening. Learners practice citing textual evidence, analyzing characters, identifying themes and main ideas, building vocabulary, and interpreting text structure and point of view. Writing assignments include argument, informative/explanatory, and narrative genres. Learners participate in discussions, create presentations, and use digital media to demonstrate understanding. This version is for independent learning—it is not teacher supported or graded; parents can grade assignments, view answer keys, and provide feedback. Accredited and mentor-guided versions are also available for an official transcripts, completed credit, and teacher grading and feedback.</p>
