Product description
Nick loves football. He loves watching his brother score, cheering from the stands, and acting out the plays! Nothing could ever squash his love for the game ... or could it? When Nick’s first day of practice doesn’t go as planned, he soon realizes football is much harder than he ever expected. Will Nick give up on his dream of being a football star, or will he learn that a little hard work, patience, and a good attitude pays off in the end? Who is David Pollack? David Pollack is a follower of Christ, a husband, and dad. David played college football for the University of Georgia, where he was a three-time All-American, and was recognized as the top college defensive player in the nation. He was an NFL first-round draft pick in 2005, selected 17th overall by the Cincinnati Bengals, where he played linebacker before a neck injury ended his career in 2006. In 2009, David joined ESPN, where he excelled for thirteen years, contributing his college football knowledge to several of the network's programs, including College GameDay.
