Product description
Students will review basic number sense and arithmetic, including evaluating expressions and order of operations. The importance of these early chapters is paramount; poor number sense or a misunderstanding of place value will inhibit understanding of later concepts. They will spend significant time with fractions (which includes time exploring the four operations with fractions). This work with fractions is vital to developing a solid foundation in proportional reasoning which will be built upon in subsequent work with decimals. In the second semester, in addition to work with decimals, students will study area/perimeter, geometry, and measurement conversion.

This rigorous 4th Grade curriculum is designed to be both comprehensive and flexible. Each subject is delivered through instructional videos and self-paced, asynchronous assignments, allowing students to progress at a pace that suits their individual learning style. Parents or guardians will assist scholars in completing assignments sequentially, ensuring mastery of each concept before moving forward. The course offers flexibility for families while maintaining high educational standards, promoting both independent learning and guided support where needed.
