<p>This fully online, self-paced course guides students through the process of creating a short documentary film based on their family history. Students explore storytelling techniques, conduct interviews, gather photographs and artifacts, and create a meaningful film project. This course is available for students in grades K-12.</p><p>Throughout the course, students develop skills in research, interviewing, storytelling, planning, filming, and editing. Students learn how to organize historical information and transform personal stories into engaging visual narratives.</p><p>By the end of the course, students will have created a completed short film that preserves and celebrates an important story from their family's history.</p><p>This is our Accredited Course with Mentor Teacher Support, which includes an official transcript and earned credit.
