<p><b>Anatomy and Physiology</b></p> <p>God created the human body to be an instrument. As students explore the organization of the human body and how it works, they become even more aware of God?s amazing design and purpose for their physical bodies. Students acquire knowledge necessary to understand what the body is doing and how it can cope with many different situations. Students study body systems in order to understand how their structure, location, and function allow for interaction with other parts of the body. They also consider how the body can be used in their worship of God, promoting spiritual growth, and serving as an analogy for spiritual truths.</p> <p><i>This course is considered a full-year course. This course contains lab activities. Required lab materials are common household items, and the list is available in the course. Recommended grade level: 10th-11th-12th grade. Successful completion of Biology is recommended</i></p>
