<p>This fully online, self-paced course for students in grades K–5 introduces young learners to the fascinating world of advertising. Students explore how ads use colors, words, and images to catch attention and persuade people. They also get to create their own simple ads using drawings and text to share their ideas with others. (Grades K-12 available)</p><p>By the end of the course, each student will have created their own mini ad campaign, learning to recognize advertising techniques and practice expressing their own ideas creatively.</p><p>Parent Note: Younger kids will need help reading and understanding the examples of ads. You can help them brainstorm ideas for their own products and what feelings they want their ads to create. Sit with them while they look at ads and ask questions like, “What do you think this ad wants you to do?”</p><p>This version of the course is designed for independent learning and is not teacher supported or graded.
