Product description
The Landform Mat provides an imaginary landscape with land and water forms to label and explore. Command cards on three levels incorporate language into the geography lesson by instructing the children to move through, around, and above the land and water forms using a plane, boat, or jeep. Higher level command cards challenge students to make proper names for places and write travel logs about their journeys. The Landform Mat also familiarizes children with the cardinal directions and uses a wood scale ruler to help them conceptualize distance at scale.
