Product description

Coursebook Overview

History is about people. Rather than viewing history as a series of events and dates this course looks at the interactions of the people behind the events: cooperation and conflict alliances and arguments. By examining how history is influenced by people's dreams and goals and shaped by their decisions and actions students gain an understanding of what happened and why and gain insight into how one person can make a profound difference in the world.

In this course students will develop a global world view. By identifying patterns of behavior that tie together events and people around the world they will begin to recognize the role of the indomitable human spirit. Students are guided in their study by a variety of assignments including research writing student-led projects learning reflections and discussions.

View samples of our 7th grade curriculum here.

Additional Materials Required for World History

The following items are needed to complete 7th Grade World History:

7th Grade World History Teacher Manual
National Geographic Kids World Atlas Sixth Edition
