<p>The Clue Card Social Communication set is designed to build social communication skills in children and teens who struggle with withdrawn behavior, inattention, and other social difficulties. This resource addresses various aspects of social interaction, including interpreting social situations, reading facial expressions and body language, and understanding metaphorical speech. By using the included “Clue” cards, players will learn about the specific details of communication that they might not notice or misunderstand. </p><p>This versatile resource builds the habit of noticing and inferring in social situations, making it great for children and teens ages 6 to 16 who require support in developing social communication skills. The accompanying Instruction Booklet provides clear guidelines for using each deck effectively. </p><p>The set includes five card decks, each focusing on different aspects of social communication: </p><p>Get a Clue: Children analyze 15 social situations, identifying “clues” and making inferences based on them. </p><p>Faces and Feelings: Using 40 cards, children match facial expressions with corresponding emotions. </p><p>Body Language: Children explore body language by matching photos with captions to search for clues about thoughts and feelings. </p><p>The 5 W's: Through 10 social scenes, children practice asking "who-what-where-when-why" questions. </p><p>In Other Words: Kids learn 30 idioms and 26 proverbs commonly used in social conversation.</p><p>For more information please visit: https://nationalautismresources.com/clue-card-5-pack/</p>
