<p>The REVISED 2nd Edition of <em>The Processing Program: Levels 2 and 3</em> helps improve language-processing skills using a set of picture-identification tasks. Teachers learn how to identify the modifications a student needs. The program includes:</p><ul><li>Language Webs, organized by linguistic concepts</li><li><em>Altered Auditory Input</em> (<em>AAI</em>) technique with picture plates and commands</li><li>119 picture plates for Level 2 and 65 picture plates for Level 3</li></ul><p>You?ll learn how to identify the type of modifications needed for each child and then how to fade use of the <em>AAI</em> technique. The technique can be taught to the child?s communication partners, especially the child?s parents.</p><p><em>Level 2</em> targets 101 advanced concepts for children ages 6 to 9 years. <em>Level 3</em> uses many of the same concepts addressed in <em> Level 2</em>, as well as 17 additional concepts in longer, more complex command combinations for children ages 9 to 12 years. (Age, however, is not the sole determinant for level use. For example, older children with more severe language disorders who need remediation of primary level concepts will still benefit from <a href="the-processing-program-level-1.html"><em>Level 1</em></a> activities.)</p><p><em>The Processing Program: Levels 2 and 3</em> is an ideal choice to use in therapy with children who have difficulty processing or learning language, including those with attention deficit disorders, auditory processing disorders, autism, and cochlear implants.
