<p>This fully online, competency-based Electrical course introduces students to the fundamental concepts, systems, and practical skills used in the electrical trades. Through immersive virtual reality experiences, interactive videos, and hands-on activities, students develop an understanding of electrical theory, workplace safety, and the tools and equipment commonly used by professional electricians.</p><p>Throughout the course, students explore topics such as electrical circuits, conductors, resistors, transformers, and electrical systems while gaining practical experience installing switches, receptacles, dimmers, switch boxes, and other common electrical components. Emphasis is placed on developing technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, and safe work practices.</p><p>Upon successful completion of the course, students will earn a digital badge in Electrical, gain valuable career-ready knowledge and hands-on experience, and strengthen their preparation for the Level I Electrical certification exam and future opportunities in the skilled trades.</p><p>This course includes 18 weeks of access to all course materials and resources.
