The Cursive Boards include five chalkboards for lettering practice. Letters on the boards are grouped into “stroke families.” Each letter has an accompanying story to help the child remember the motions for its strokes. An included Story Card Set featuring these stories can be used for individual practice: Waldorf education uses this method of storytelling very effectively in their elementary program to provide an emotional anchor for the child’s memory. The Cursive Boards come with a wooden Cursive Board Box for storing the boards and a separate, smaller wooden box for the story cards.
