<p><b>Economics and Financial Literacy</b></p> <p>Economic decisions affect us every day of our lives. The purpose of this course is to help students become wise consumers and thoughtful stewards who understand the flow of an economy between individuals, businesses, governments, and the rest of the world. Students explore scarcity and the decisions made in light of the biblical principles of stewardship, man?s fallen nature, and sowing and reaping, as they seek to make decisions about our limited resources from an eternal perspective. In this course, students delve into examples of economics in their daily lives. Students learn to recognize that the costs and benefits of choices connect individuals and groups around the world and should be an instrument for God?s glory and man?s good.</p> <p><i>This course is a 0.5 credit course (one semester). Recommended grade level: 9th-10th-11th-12th grade.</i></p>
