<p>In this 6th Grade Language Arts course, students develop reading, writing, listening, speaking, discussion, reflection, and viewing skills. The curriculum includes reading strategies, critical thinking, and vocabulary development to strengthen reading comprehension. Students read a variety of genres, including fiction, nonfiction, and poetry, and apply reading strategies to improve understanding. The course also focuses on narrative, informational, and argumentative writing to strengthen writing skills. The overall goal of the course is to improve students' literacy and communication skills. This covers the full-year, including Semester 1 and Semester 2.</p><p>Sparky is now available in our online courses. With Sparky, students stay on track and work toward achieving their academic goals more effectively.</p> <p>This is our Accredited Course version, which includes an official transcript and earned credit.
