<p>This self-paced, online course provides a foundation in Early Childhood Education, preparing students for careers in early childhood education and related services. Students will develop the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and behaviors needed to support the optimal growth and development of infants, toddlers, and children. Topics include health and safety, cognitive, language, physical, social, and emotional development. Using virtual reality, students practice curriculum planning, room arrangement, lesson presentation, and engaging children in gross motor activities.</p><p>Upon completion, students will earn a digital badge in Early Childhood Education and be better prepared for the Early Childhood certification exam.</p><p>This version of the course is designed for independent learning and is not teacher-supported or graded. Parents can grade assignments, view answer keys, and provide feedback to their child.</p><p>We also offer this course as an Accredited Course with an official transcript and earned credit, or as an Accredited Course with Mentor Teacher, which adds a dedicated teacher to provide grading, feedback, and ongoing support for student success.</p><p>To learn more about our courses, visit our catalog at https://onfirelearning.com/course-catalog/.</p>
