<p>Knowing the meaning of various word parts can greatly expand your students' vocabulary and help them figure out the meanings of words they have never seen or heard before. Our <em>500 Prefixes, Suffixes, and Stems Super Fun Deck</em> and <em>Fun Sheets Bundle</em> provides 1000 vocabulary words and practice activities to help students understand and use these important word parts.</p><p>The <em>Super Fun Deck</em> presents 500 illustrated prefixes, suffixes, and stems. One side of each card presents a word part and its meaning, along with two words (using the word part) and their definitions. A whimsical picture helps illustrate the first word. Use this side of the card to teach the word parts. The other side is a flashcard to test your students' knowledge. Cards measure 3" x 4" and come packaged in a sturdy storage box for easy travel.</emp <p>The 328-page companion book provides multiple contexts for students to learn and remember Greek, Latin, and other word parts (agro-, cogn-, hum-, mega-, ped-, syn-, etc.).</p><p>Each of the 50 chapters in the Super Fun Sheets book contains six reproducible worksheets. The word parts appear alphabetically in each chapter of the book in order to coordinate your instruction with the Fun Deck. Extension activities ask students to:</p><ul><li>Write the meanings of common prefixes, suffixes, and stems</li><li>Answer multiple-choice and fill-in-the-blank exercises</li><li>Read and respond to paragraphs containing example words</li><li>Write sentences to show their understanding of each lesson?s words</li></ul><p>Each chapter ends with a quiz to use as an assessment or student review. The answer key, located at the back of the book, makes checking students? work quick and easy.</p></div>
