Product description

This self-paced course is the natural next step for those who have used "Drawing with Children." Drawing is foundational for all forms of art and Art II teaches children the critical elements of drawing and the elements of design (line, shape, form, color, texture, space and value) and thus maximize their potential. Students will discover the many different styles they can choose to draw in and how to develop their own personal styles. In the second half of the self-paced course, students will discover a unique way of seeing that allows them to draw any shape they observe. They will learn the basics - from buying art supplies to planning their compositions - and all the "good stuff" (proportion, scale, perspective, contrast, shading and special effects). This self-paced course is for the older grammar student looking to discover the joys of drawing!

Minimum age of 9 and maximum age of 12 on the first day of class. Recommended for 4th, 5th, and 6th Grades.
