<b>Graphic Design 101</b> is designed to introduce middle and high school students to the fundamental concepts and skills needed to create visually appealing and impactful designs. Through <b>short, pre-recorded video lessons taught by a professional graphic designer</b>, students learn core design principles while engaging in hands-on projects and creative exploration using <b>industry-relevant digital tools such as Canva, along with other beginner-friendly design platforms</b>. Students complete <b>challenging, real-world projects and assignments</b> that reflect the types of work commonly expected in the graphic design industry. Each week, students also watch <b>pre-recorded student workshops</b>, where a teacher walks through the assignments step by step, providing guidance and practical insight. The course culminates in a <b>final branding project</b>, in which students create their own brand, including a logo and a cohesive visual campaign.<br><br><i>Semester course - Course syllabus, grading rubric, and transcript description are available on the student dashboard.</i>
