This student workbook can be used alone for phonics and reading practice or with the Horizons Kindergarten Phonics & Reading Teacher's Guide 1, sold separately, which provides step-by-step lessons and teaching instructions that correlate with student book activities. The Horizons Phonics & Reading Reader 1, which includes 40 short stories that reinforce concepts from lessons 1-40, is also sold separately. With Horizons Kindergarten Phonics & Reading, your child will build a strong foundation in literacy skills, celebrate successes that build confidence, and develop a lifelong love of reading!
